The project that we all know as Live anywhere will be coming sooner than you may have thought. Live anywhere is going to let you log in with your Xbox Live Gamertag on your Windows Vista PC. If you have a Silver account you can earn achievements in single player modes, send text and voice messages, play your friends and others on PC games. If you are an Xbox Live Gold Member you will get more features such as multiplayer achievements and trueskill matchmaking. You do now have to pay extra for the service. Alls you have to do is have a gamertag and you are good to go. Live for Windows will be debuting with the release of Halo 2 for Windows Vista on May 8th 2007, not that far away. Sounds like a pretty good deal for all you Vista owners, this just makes me want to buy a new PC for Vista right now. Read the official Gamerscore Blog post on the service here.
