A few months ago there was something going around the community about new Halo 2 maps being released. Bungie has now confirmed that the two maps will be released for $4 for both together. The maps will be released on April 17th. The maps are named Tombstone and Desolation, they are remakes of Hang Em High and Derelict. There will be no way to use Microsoft Points for the transaction since they will be available for download on the original Xbox as well so you will need to use your credit card for these maps. I know this news sounds good to all you hardcore Halo fans out there, I probably won’t be buying them when they release. Who knows, maybe they will become free after a few months pass like map packs before this one. Here are two screenshots of the new maps:
