New Halo 2 Maps On The Way

A few months ago there was something going around the community about new Halo 2 maps being released. Bungie has now confirmed that the two maps will be released for $4 for both together. The maps will be released on April 17th. The maps are named Tombstone and Desolation, they are remakes of Hang Em High and Derelict. There will be no way to use Microsoft Points for the transaction since they will be available for download on the original Xbox as well so you will need to use your credit card for these maps. I know this news sounds good to all you hardcore Halo fans out there, I probably won’t be buying them when they release. Who knows, maybe they will become free after a few months pass like map packs before this one. Here are two screenshots of the new maps:

Grand Theft Auto IV Trailer On The Way!

Most of you reading this right now have probably heard of a little title called Grand Theft Auto. Well Rockstar is going to release a trailer on Xbox.com for the new Grand Theft Auto IV in about one hour and fifty minutes from the time I am writing this post (4:06 PM EST). So if you are reading this post around 6:00 EST click this link to see the new trailer.

Live Continues to expand into our Living Room….

Looking at your couch…. What Did Everyone Do During the Downtime?

Unless you locked yourself in a room with the lights off while Xbox Live was down yesterday, you would know that the downtime went longer than expected. Exclusive Games…. Do they still matter?

Recently, G4’s attack of the show had a segment on The Loop talking about the relevancy of exclusive games on current gen consoles. The latest IGN games podcast also tackles this topic. With the news that Devil May Cry 4 is no longer a PS3 exclusive, it got us wondering: do exclusive games still matter? Do they still sell systems? Without exclusives, is there enough to differentiate one console from another? What do all of you think? Do exclusive games matter as much as they used to and why?
